+ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in assigned areas
+ Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in assigned areas
+ Mix and use chemicals in a safe and responsible manner
+ Responsible for daily linen pick-up, as well as vacuuming and other assigned tasks
+ Documents work completed on shift checklists
+ Identifies and reports maintenance needs to supervisor
+ Sets up decontamination showers and assists with emergency situations as directed
+ Cross-trains in all departments throughout the hospital as needed
+ Maintains high ethical standards, safeguarding all hospital facility property
+ Maintains strict confidentiality regarding knowledge of all patient information (HIPAA), staff and confidential hospital business
+ BGH maintains the right to establish work schedules and to be ensured of employee's attendance when scheduled. Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality is a required Essential Function of this position.
+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships with all staff
+ Other duties as assigned
